In October 2025, EI Group participated in GBA Oktoberfest 2025 – the largest German cultural festival in Southeast Asia, organized by the German Business Association (GBA) in cooperation with the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam).

Vibrant and authentically German atmosphere at the GBA–Erdinger Oktoberfest 2025
Oktoberfest originated in Bavaria, Germany: in 1810, the people of Munich organized a horse race on the Theresienwiese meadow to celebrate the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig I and Princess Therese. This opening event lasted for 5 days and later evolved into a world-renowned annual festival. Over two centuries, Oktoberfest has become Germany’s largest cultural and entertainment celebration, known for its traditional Dirndl and Lederhosen attire, folk music, festive games, and fresh beer.

In Vietnam, this year’s event holds special significance as it marks 50 years of Vietnam–Germany diplomatic relations and 30 years since the establishment of the GBA. The festival took place in three major cities: Hanoi (September 25–27), Da Nang (October 03), and Ho Chi Minh City (October 09–11). Each venue was decorated to resemble a Bavarian festival space, recreating the authentic Oktoberfest atmosphere with blue-and-white flags, lively music, and hundreds of traditional German dishes and beverages.
EI Group joined the program with the spirit of integration, business connection, and promoting the image of a dynamic and friendly Vietnam to international partners. Ms. Kim Anh – Senior External Relations Officer of EI Group – together with the EI Group team attended the event, meeting and engaging with many guests throughout the series. These networking moments opened opportunities for deeper discussions on cooperation in education, training, and vocational study abroad – the strategic strengths of EI Group.
Participating in GBA Oktoberfest 2025 allowed EI Group to experience German culture in the most authentic and engaging way – from music and cuisine to the communication style of the German people. These cultural experiences enable EI Group to more accurately convey the image of Germany to students and parents, helping guide young people who are preparing for their vocational study abroad journey.
GBA Oktoberfest is an event that embodies openness and connection within the Vietnamese–German business community. For EI Group, taking part in the festival is a way to broaden its international outlook, strengthen ties with German partners, and promote a spirit of cooperation and learning – values that continuously accompany EI Group’s educational mission.
