[50 YEARS OF VIETNAM – GERMANY RELATIONS] EI GROUP REPRESENTATIVE AMONG TOP 15 IN THE “FRAGMENTS OF MEMORY” CONTEST ORGANIZED BY THE GERMAN ACADEMIC EXCHANGE SERVICE IN VIETNAM

On September 23, 1975, Vietnam and the Federal Republic of Germany officially established diplomatic relations. Over the past five decades, the relationship between the two countries has grown increasingly strong, creating favorable conditions for cooperation in economics, culture, and education.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Germany and the 100th anniversary of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the DAAD Hanoi office organized the contest “100 Years of DAAD & 50 Years of Vietnam–Germany: Fragments of Memory” to strengthen bilateral cooperation and create a platform for cultural exchange between the people of both nations, especially alumni and students who have studied in Germany.

Ms. Lý Kim Anh – Senior External Relations Officer for the German Market at EI Group – was honored to have her submission “A Winter Afternoon in Germany” selected as one of the top 15 entries. Her work was exhibited at various showcases during the “German Festival 2025” in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, as well as other special DAAD events. With this result, Ms. Lý Kim Anh and other outstanding authors will have the opportunity to meet with the German Ambassador on November 18, 2025.
